CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Ministering to the needs of children is important at Kids at the Gate, the children’s ministry of Church at the Gate. We are committed to the task of reaching children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we want children to continue in their pursuit of knowing God, discovering God’s purpose, living and experiencing the power of God operating through their lives.

Nursery (Birth through 23 months)
Our nursery provides a clean, warm and caring environment for each child. It is a place where children are loved, and feel secure and safe. The nursery is staffed by adults who love babies and have chosen to serve in this area of ministry. Nursery care is provided during both services for children birth through 23 months.

Toddler (2-year-olds)
Toddlers are cared for by adults who love children and demonstrate God's love in a fun environment.

Preschoolers (Ages 3, 4, 5, & K)
Preschoolers are taught biblical truths with age-appropriate lessons by adults who model God’s love to them. It is an exciting time of learning, with songs, crafts, stories, drama, and games to emphasize bible teaching.

Elementary (1st through 5th Grade)
First- through fifth-grade children will be taught biblical principles and precepts through a variety of methods – worship, scripture memory, object lessons, stories, games and life applications. Children are introduced to Jesus Christ in an exciting, fun and energetic way.

Childcare available for children infant through three years of age.

Age 4 through 5th Grade
Our Wednesday night ministry is a bible based, fun and amazing time. It is a time of going deeper into God’s word through fun games and activities, which are structured for the children to learn and to build relationships with their peers through group interaction and participation.
