LET IT RISE! As exciting as our past has been, we are even more excited about our future!! Everything is on the rise—and, there is no slowdown in sight. The reaches of our "river's edge" are expanding daily as new and needy people are being graced by Christ's love flowing through Church at the Gate. The excitement level is rising to see our new Children's & Youth Equipping Center rise out of the ground. Equally, great fervor is rising out of us to extend our ministry reach into north Sioux Falls. This theme, Let It Rise! Expanding > Equipping > Extending captures the three main aspects of what we hear God calling us to do; 1) expand our present facility, 2) equip kids and youth to be all they can be in God, and 3) establish an extension campus north. The word "let" in "Let it Rise" primarily has to do with each of us allowing God to do this through us. Yet, there is also a defiance in the word "let"—we are commanding the principalities and powers to "stop hindering that which God is raising up." We are calling forth our future! We are praying Psalm 74:22, "Rise up Oh God, and defend your cause!!" Let It Rise - Campaign Literature |
