Its time for our annual Women's Spring Retreat! We are headed back to beautiful Swan Lake, where God met us last year! He looks forward to meeting each of you again this year! Dates are May 5-7, 2023.
We have some wonderful things planned for this year's weekend.
Our speaker this year is Susie Wingler, founder of Direct Line Prayer Center. Susie and her husband Gerry are life long residents of Sioux Falls and have two daughters, Stacy and Jennifer.
Susie is actively engaged in the prayer life of Sioux Falls and the Community. Through the power of The Holy Spirit, her life was changed in 2006. Susie's passion is to share testimonies of God's miraculous healing, restoring, and redemptive power. Additionally, her daughter, Jennifer will be sharing about God's miraculous work in her life.
Come anticipating God to move among us as we are encouraged and inspired by "His Story."
To lead us into God's Presence, Elizabeth Enalls will be our worship leader for the weekend. She is no stranger to The Gate and is a much sought after leader in Sioux Falls. We are blessed to have her join us!
The Worship will start at 7:00, but feel free to come and settle in any time after 4:00. Dinner will not be served Friday night but there is a cafe in Viborg and we will have some nutritious items on our snack table. Bring something to share if you like.
Swan Lake will serve 3 meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
The cost of the Retreat will be the same as last year....$150.00.
As a part of the fun, we are asking each lady to bring a baby photo or portrait of themselves. Don't show anyone!! It would be helpful if you could put your name on the back and put it in a Manila envelope so only Teri sees it. It will be fun! If you could get it to us a week or two before the retreat that would be wonderful! You will get your photo back.
Also, we are having a book exchange. Bring one or two (no more) books for our table....bring a book...take a book. Bring two books...take two books. A fun way to get some new reading material!
God is going to meet us there. You can fellowship or get away on your own. A time to unwind and reconnect ....with friends...with God!
