Family Night meal starts Wednesday, September 10th!
Come break bread with us every Wednesday Night (starting on the 10th) and share a meal with one-another as a gathering unto the Lord! Meal is served at 5:15pm and Life Groups start at 6:00pm.

It’s been an amazing summer but it is already time to start thinking about cooler days and warmer clothes…and fall Life Groups at The Gate!
We have some fantastic book study life groups(and leaders) that give opportunity and space for gathering, learning, discussion, and fellowshipping.
Especially in the season of changing and cooling, our gathering unto the Lord glows warmly through these life groups; maybe you would consider joining us Wednesday nights?
See you all on Wednesday Night September 10 @ (5:15 meal) 6PM. This season is going to be a good one!
Youth at the Gate Fall Conference: Fall Fling
Fall Fling is a youth retreat designed to give youth groups opportunities to grow and fellowship together. Camp Shamineau provides the programming, activities and meals. There will be chapel sessions combining fun and games, great worship times and engaging Gospel-focused messages from our guest speakers. Activities include: Chapel, High Ropes Course, Zip Line, Horse Rides, Crafts, Gym Activities, Tournaments, And Much More!
We will be meeting at The Gate on Friday, September 26th at 1:30pm. You can bring a lunch with you or eat prior to the van ride. We will also be making a couple of quick stops for food on the ride up and the ride back so please bring some extra money for those times. We will be returning to the Gate at 6:30pm Sunday, September 28. Make sure to pack warm clothes, because northern MN can get a bit chilly in the fall! We can’t wait to go to experience camp with you all!

This event will take place on October 25th and will be a duration of approximately 6 hours. Note the time zone difference: They start on Pacific time, so our start time will be 11am CST!
Quincy Good Star Ministries

We are grateful for his role as one of the Overseers of our house, but there is so much more to this ministry.
We believe Quincy is a voice over the entire nation, appointed by God for such a time as this; to bring forth the Word and His Gospel of Grace! This ministry is a DEEP well of revelation of identity in and of Christ and the Gospel of Grace. Come and soak it in!!!

Feast on Jesus!
Hey family, I had some extended time in the prayer room on Wednesday just spending time with Jesus. While I was sitting with Him, I sensed Him leading me to call us to a two-week season of worship and sitting at His feet.
Of all the great pages yet to be written in Book Three, as Jesus said, “one thing is needed.”
So, we are going to take the next two weeks and “feast” at His feet. I specifically felt He said that this is not a fast, but a time of feasting on and in His presence.
We will still have our normal times of intercession, but that isn’t what this will be. We will simply play worship music in the sanctuary and just receive from Him…from His great heart of love for us!
Here’s the schedule:
Sunday evenings (August 3 & 10) @ 6pm - 7:30pm
Live worship For the next two weeks
Monday-Friday
(August 4-8 and August 11-15)
6am-7am - Elder facilitated with prerecorded worship in the sanctuary.
Noon - 1pm- Pastor facilitated with prerecorded worship in the sanctuary.
Sunday evening(August 17) @ 6pm - 7:30pm
Live worship and a time of walking the property and building re-dedicating it to the Lord for this next season. This will be a Spirit-led time of declaring what He reveals to us.
We will call it, Two Weeks of Feasting on Jesus!

Come join us for a night of family-friendly gut busting laughs with Brad Stine!
Church at the Gate is hosting “God’s Comic” Brad Stine as fundraiser for the upcoming Power and Love Conference with Lifestyle Christianity in October. This will not only be hilarious but will help bring a powerful Kingdom voice to the region.
Great laughs and a good cause; what better excuse could we find for a fun night of gathering!

Spray Park VBS
Spray Park VBS: July 21-24 Mon-Thurs 6:30-8PM @ Pioneer Spray Park!
We are going to have so much fun and learn a lot about Jesus at VBS this year!
Each night will include playing in the spray park, hearing a message, and stations for the kids to experience God. IE: beading, face painting, water paints, and games too.
VBS is going to be focused on teaching our children from The Gate and also spreading the gospel to other children/families at the spray park too!
Family Meeting with Beth Hackbarth
Book Three is just starting to come into focus! Join us on the next step of this journey when we host Beth Hackbarth of Foursquare for our next family meeting.
She will be here to model Foursquare culture and inform us deeper on what it means to be a part of he family as we consider entering into their fold. There will be a lunch along with the meeting.

Remembrance and Celebration of Steve Hickey
In this season of the loss (but Heaven’s gain) of our founding Pastor Steve Hickey, we wanted to take time to gather for an evening of honoring, celebrating, remembering, and testifying of how Steve’s life and ministry impacted so many.
Join us in this gathering for Steve on Thursday July 17th at 7 pm at The Gate in Sioux Falls.
Steve’s legacy, memories, and our love for him will forever live in our hearts. We are thankful for his victorious entry into the cloud of witnesses!

Blessing of the Bikers
Quincy Good Star Ministries is coming back in June, but with a twist (of the throttle)!
Hosted by QGSM, the Blessing of the Bikers is our way of blessing the more important part of the equation of man and machine: the man.
This event is not only for bikers, but anyone that wants to bless your fellow machine rider to not only be protected but to ride more like Jesus would. Tell the biker that you pray for to ride on over to The Gate for this event too.
Last year, we left the sanctuary blessed and smelling like high octane!
Lord, burn in our hearts so that our "exhaust" sounds and smells like blessings everywhere we go!

Rosebud Camp Meeting
Come join The Gate as we partner with Pastor Alfred Old Lodge in hosting our 3rd annual camp meeting, on the Rosebud reservation.
The week will entail: serving food, teaching VBS, prophesying over the community, and pausing to understand Native American culture.
Camp will be June 17-20 this year!
Pentecost Weekend with Chris Burns
One of our favorite times of year is already coming back around; and we are EXCITED! Pentecost Weekend is right around the corner and this year will be from June 6 to June 8. It seems like tradition at this point, but nevertheless we are so blessed to be welcoming Chris Burns as our special guest worship leader and speaker! Burns ministries impacts the body of Christ all over the world and we are very excited to host him for Pentecost Weekend.
While we celebrate the entire weekend, service times will be as follows:
Friday Night - 6:30pm
Saturday Night - 6:30pm
Sunday Morning - 9:15am
3 gatherings unto Jesus, three Pentecost Celebrations; we cant wait to see all of you there for powerful worship and teachings!

Women's Retreat

Hi Ladies,
It's time to get registered for our Spring Retreat at beautiful
Swan Lake. This will be our 5th annual Spring Retreat!
Four of those years we have been together at Swan Lake.
It's kind of like going home--many Sacred Spaces there......The Lord has met us. Each of us have our own stories.....He has a plan to meet you there this year too!
The dates are May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The cost is the same as last year...$160.00 Put it on your calendar... You don't want to miss out!
Registration is from 4:00 - 6:30 on Friday with worship starting at 7:00. Come early and settle in!
Our speaker this year is Sue Rooney. She is the wife of one of our overseers,Tom Rooney.
And back by popular demand, Elizabeth Enalls will be leading us in worship.
Swan Lake will not be serving us Friday night dinner, but we will have a snack table. Bring your favorite snack to share. Healthy or otherwise!
You might want to have a bite to eat before arriving.
On Saturday we will be served Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. We will also be served Sunday morning Breakfast. The Retreat will end around 12:00 on Sunday.
A book exchange has been fun and has provided us all with new reading material. So we will do that again! Bring one or two(no more) books and take one or two depending on what you brought.
Swan Lake provides bedding, towels, coffee, and ice.
You will want to bring a bible, notebook, and a water bottle (they have a cooler and ice). Also, bring an open heart. I know God has much to say to you...and it's good!❤️
Annual Yard Sale Fundraiser
Spring Cleaning season is upon us!
Our annual Church Yard Sale is a great time to bring lightly used items and pick some up while you're at it.
Staring now, you can drop items off with Pastor Ryan at the Church.
This is a fundraiser for Rosebud Outreach and small portion to Children's Ministry as well.

Periodically, The Gate Staff likes to give the family a chance to get to know the pastors better. We will be sharing our plans and vision for not only our departments but the house as a whole.
We are excited to be with you in this intimate setting and for you to get to know us even better. Meet the Pastors takes place after service on Sunday, April 27th. A light lunch will be provided.
Also, if you are interested in becoming a member of The Gate, you will want to stay for Starting Gate. Whether you decide to join or not, you will walk away with a better feel for who we are and why we believe God has called us to serve alongside the other amazing churches in our city.
Starting Gate begins immediately after Meet the Pastors and ends at 2:30 pm.
Good Friday Service
A Christian's most special celebration is right around the corner and we want to make room for all generations to express and lead us into worship and celebration of our Great God.
Join us on Good Friday for a Youth-led ministry night of worship, communion, receiving, and testimony.
God is so good, and coming from our youth, we will get to see our God with fresh eyes as we remember what was done for us on the cross.
Jesus, your blood speaks the best word!

Join us the morning of Palm Sunday for our annual Palms and Pancakes family breakfast!
We will have pancakes with strawberries and whipped toppings available as well as sausage, juice, coffee, and even a gluten free option.
We love to feast together and Palm Sunday is one of the most special days of the year to honor our King Jesus!

Healing Summit
Are you or someone you know in need of a miracle from God?
Do you need healing from sickness, disease, anxiety, depression, addictions, financial issues, etc.?
Sioux Falls will be gathering and praying in conjunction with the vision of Oasis Church in Middletown, Ohio, and hundreds of other churches and ministries around the world. This will take place on the evening of April 4 at 6pm and will entail live-streaming and interactive in-person prayer.
We are participating and facilitating this evening in Sioux Falls with the belief that God will activate the gifts of miracles and healings across the world. We are praying for notable healings and miracles...healing of diseases, cancer, anxiety, depression, pain, addictions, relationships and so much more! We are also believing for salvation, restoration and redemption to break out.
We would love to have you join us as we seek after Jesus to see the power of God displayed and the healings that Jesus paid for at the cross manifest in our world. Please join us in prayer to see our community and world changed by the love of Jesus.
