Brent Parker - Senior Pastor
Brent comes from a family rich in music and ministry. He is a third-generation pastor with deep roots in the soil of Spirit-empowered Christianity. He and his wife Tani planted Destiny Foursquare Church in Rapid City, SD in 1998 with a passion to help spiritually hungry people experience God. In 2018 they answered the call to step into a new season of life and founded See The Voice Ministries (seethevoice.org). See the Voice is all about turning the hearts of every generation to see and be the voice of God in every nation. In the Spring of 2018, Brent and Tani relocated to Sioux Falls, SD where Brent began serving as Interim Pastor at The Gate. Brent became Lead Pastor in the Fall of 2020 and is loving this season of, “…encountering God and equipping world-changers…” with The Gate family. Tani also continues to minister and equip others to hear the voice of God. Her devotional, “The Voice of Glory Thunders” is all about the reader having a personal encounter with the living voice of God.

Chris Hill - Staff Pastor
Chris Hill lives in Sioux Falls with his wonderful wife Zoe. Born and raised here, he has always called it home. Since an early age he was immersed in music, and eventually started to play it himself.
Through different variations and combinations, his journey has been very musical; but none as honoring as leading worship.
God brought him to The Gate more than a decade ago as a musician; and now since recently, he’s a Staff Pastor. His main focus on staff is worship through music.
While new to pastoring, his heart for God and people grows daily. Every step is ordained by God.

Ryan Lumley - Staff Pastor
Ryan is honored to be married to my lovely bride Tracy Lumley since May of 2007. They have three amazing daughters Anah, Eden, and Ivy that they are extremely proud of. He gave his life to Jesus in November of 2002 and has been running hard after God ever-since. He loves God’s presence, reaching out with His love to all those in need, and raising up the next generation to know Him and make Him known!
As a staff Pastor, his main focus is children ministry, He is passionate about children giving their lives to Jesus, children worshipping God with all of their hearts, and creating a culture that empowers children to take their places as present-day world changers for King Jesus. The children in this ministry will be familiar with reading the Bible, being best friends with Jesus, watching miracles happen, sharing their faith, and knowing and being filled with Holy Spirit. “Fun” is also a huge priority in this ministry!

Jamie Elg - Staff Pastor
Jamie has a heart for missions and did a lot of work in Brazil, where he met his wife Grazi. After graduating from Augustana with a teaching degree, he got married and went to Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry, where he majored in School Planting and Leadership and interned with a pastor there. After starting a family, he moved back home to Sioux Falls to raise his three amazing children: Noah, Oliver, and Emma. Jamie oversees the daycare ministry and is passionate about family and children being raised to be lovers of God and full of the Spirit.
